Starting my blog

I have finally decided to start blogging. One of the motivating factors for starting now is that I have a number of trips planned for this summer. Last week I returned from two weeks in Israel and next week I leave for a month of traveling. I'll be visiting Ontario Canada to see my parents and all my brothers and sisters, on to Amman Jordan to teach a course on 8th Century Prophets, and then back to British Columbia Canada where I'll join with my wife Sharon to spend a week with our daughter Sarah and her husband John. Then home for two days and off to take a course in creation while rafting down the Grand Canyon. After that I'll be home for two weeks, one of which I'll teach a summer school course at Dallas Theological Seminary. Then up to Wisconsin to preach at Northern Pines Conference and then back home to prepare for the Fall semester. I thought it might be good to start to comment and photograph my travels and ministry.
I am presenting viewing this blog as a means to share my life and ministry with those who have an interest in following and praying for me. I hope it will be of interest to my family and friends.
